Many companies and organizations have archived data on Microfiche and Microfilm over many decades.
This archived information is becoming valuable today and as a result, migration to new electronic formats can be a huge competitive advantage, or of significant historical research value.
John Bordynuik Inc., uses some of todays most advanced technology, and custom software to scan your microfiche, or microfilm and output the results into a usable format. Once the microfilm or microfiche has been scanned, our process then indexes the data to create a searchable database of your archive. This database provides an efficient method to retrieve the original documents.
Migration of microfiche/microfilm to digitized images offers the flexibility to share this information images across your organizations networks in a way which standard microfilm and microfiche cannot.
The images produced by our process are available in a variety of formats. we support standard image formats, and as well we can also output to PDF. The PDF format is a multi-platform format, and is a very common way to distribute documents today.
We are able to create image only PDF files, as well as text searchable PDF files to make your database even more flexible and efficient.
